Responsibilities will include :
- Creating eye-catching graphics, images and visual content for various marketing materials including social media posts, email campaigns, website, and print material.
- Collaborating with the Marketing team to develop visually appealing marketing materials that align with our Brand Identity.
- Ensuring that all graphics are on-brand and maintain a consistent visual style across all marketing channels.
- Assisting in managing Evergreen Co-op social media accounts, while creating engaging content and developing online relationships with community organizations, and page followers.
- Helping plan, execute and attend company & community events.
- Supporting email marketing efforts including list management and content creation.
- Creating photo & video content for social media accounts.
- Provide administrative support to the Marketing Department as required.
- Assisting with donation requests and communication with applicants.
We are ideally seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Excellent communication, organization and writing skills
- Creative mindset and strong attention for detail & design
- Personable & outgoing
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
- Strong initiative to create, motivate & drive projects forward
- 1-2 years of experience with social media, graphic design & video software
- Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Picmonkey, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Mailchimp & Jotform
- Class 5 Drivers License
- Flexible daytime hours with occasional evening & weekend availability for special events as required
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Certificate or diploma in Social Media Studies or Marketing an asset
- Ability to travel to Evergreen Co-op locations in Co-op vehicle or use personal vehicle with paid mileage
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
