The Opportunity

The Senior Manager, Marketing is a transformative role that is key to executing key marketing initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly influence our growth trajectory by closely aligning marketing strategies with the company's overarching business and revenue objectives.

The successful candidate will function as both a strategist and a tactician, collaborating closely with the VP of Business Development, VP of Sales and CEO. Your challenge will be to drive the planning and execution of digital marketing and demand generation strategies, with a laser-focus on repeatable and scalable revenue growth. This role requires a passion for modern marketing methods, exploiting the latest technologies and techniques, and a dedication to fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.

What You'll Do

  • Revenue-Driven Demand Generation: Execute and optimize comprehensive demand generation strategies aimed not just at lead generation but also directly contributing to the company's bottom line. This includes defining target segments, establishing key marketing channels, and developing impactful messaging and positioning.
  • Lead Generation and Nurturing: Develop and manage multi-channel lead generation campaigns, such as email marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, and webinars. Build lead nurturing programs to engage and educate prospects throughout the sales funnel, with a keen eye on improving conversion rates.
  • Data-Driven ABM Strategy: Manage high-level Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies focused on targeted revenue growth. Utilize ABM campaign data and insights to continually refine and improve performance.
  • SEO Optimization and Website Optimizing: Oversee the end-to-end process of website reskinning, focusing on improving organic growth through enhanced user experience, SEO, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Act as a "player coach", directly contributing to marketing activities while also guiding and mentoring the marketing team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance within the team.
  • Project Management: Develop project plans, outline objectives, timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure effective execution and timely completion of marketing initiatives.
  • Competitive Analysis and Market Understanding: Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, customer needs, and market trends to inform marketing strategies.
  • Innovative Technology Integration: Stay at the forefront of marketing technology advancements, integrating AI-powered tools, into the marketing strategy to optimize campaigns and enhance the customer experience.

What You'll Bring
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing and a genuine commitment to continuous learning is preferred.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in revenue-focused demand generation and digital marketing, preferably in the B2B SaaS / Tech-enabled services industry.
  • Experience working in Founder led Startup or growth phase companies.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • An analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and metrics for decision-making.
  • A proven track record of successful demand generation campaigns that directly resulted in measurable revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in WordPress, HubSpot, Salesforce, SEMRush, Hotjar or Crazy Egg, and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
