The opportunity

  • Coordinates sales and delivery of MOP products on a vessel-by-vessel basis in coordination with the other members of the Latin America, Brazil, Europe and Africa team.
  • Analyzes all available options of delivering product to find the most cost-effective disport combination in collaboration with the Operations team.
  • Prepares sales contracts and confirmation letters as guided by Canpotex
  • Follows media coverage, industry trends, customer and competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and uses the information to generate comprehensive market analysis using visuals or data entries.
  • Assists with marketing matters including inventory flow, maintaining sales tracking sheets, POs and barge loadings relating to offshore warehouses as applicable in assigned markets (Europe warehouse only).
  • Monitors budgeted volume against demand forecasts on a month-by-month basis to ensure year end volume objectives are met.

You have

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in business or a related field. A focus in international business or sales would be considered an asset.
  • Minimum three to five years' experience in business, market intelligence or a relevant field.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain processes and/or business analysis is considered a definite asset.
  • Language skills within the designated markets are considered an asset, specifically Spanish.

  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining effective working relationships.
