Graphic Designer

Position Overview

Our financial client is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join their creative team for a 3+ month contract, with the possibility of an extension, starting early November. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing for large brands. This role will focus on creating visually appealing designs that adhere to accessibility standards and support various production needs. This role is hybrid, 2 days/week in office at their downtown office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and team members to understand design requirements and objectives.
  • Create high-quality graphics and layouts for various media including print, digital, and social platforms.
  • Ensure all designs are accessible and adhere to industry standards.
  • Utilize Figma and InDesign for designing and prototyping user interfaces and graphics.
  • Work with production teams to prepare files for print and digital distribution.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all visual content and deliverables.
  • Stay updated on design trends and best practices to enhance creative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma.
  • Experience designing for large brands and understanding brand guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility in design for both print and digital is a requirement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
