Who We're Looking For
Key Responsibilities
- Use HubSpot CRM to note all business details after each sales conversation.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing and the Structural team to develop and execute an annual sales strategy that outlines key actions to achieve company objectives within the assigned territory. Regularly update and adjust the plan on a quarterly basis as needed. Engage with management throughout the planning and implementation process, sharing major successes and addressing any setbacks.
- Conduct client (TBD) visits to identify opportunities, develop relationships, negotiate and close deals that support revenue growth.
- Coordinate lunch and learn sessions with customers and members of the Architectural & Design community.
- Assist clients to set specification requirements based on the latest product knowledge.
- Execute and achieve sales targets.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer base. Pre-plan and have objectives for each sales call having alternative objectives including a commitment to action by the customer. Anticipate buyer objections and have alternative strategies to solve resistance.
- Develop and maintain a high degree of product and industry knowledge.
Communication
- Deliver training to customers, and members of the industry, which exemplifies Garibaldi's position as industry wide market leader.
- Actively participate in regular team meetings, contributing insights and feedback on competitor activity, marketing strategies, market trends, and recent wins to help drive continuous improvement and team success.
- Maintain a professional, mature, and supportive demeanor in all interactions whether engaging with customers or collaborating with team members to foster trust and effective communication.
- All other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Training)
- Post-secondary education in business or engineering preferred.
- 2-3 years full-cycle sales experience preferred (customer acquisition & retention, negotiating, and closing deals).
- Demonstration of your ability to initiate and succeed in personal or professional activities considered an asset.
- Experienced or understanding of creating strategies and managing outcomes.
Required Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities
- Knowledge and familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.
- Demonstrates strong business acumen and communicates effectively across diverse audiences to support strategic goals and foster collaboration
- Proven ability to lead through challenging negotiations and conflict resolution, showcasing a strong aptitude for leadership.
- A B2B ?hunter? with an outgoing personality and a proactive approach to engaging with
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently as well as be a contributing member of a team.
- Technical aptitude to understand, advise and train on products.
- Exhibits a strong work ethic and self-motivation, consistently taking initiative and demonstrating leadership potential.
- Ability to be creative and provide solutions for win-win relationships.

Working Conditions
This position works primarily in an office environment with occasional time spent within a manufacturing environment. Client job sites may be indoor or outdoor environment(s) with exposure to dirt, dust and weather elements that might produce discomfort.
Travel
Travel may fluctuate throughout the year. Most travel with be within North America and/or local.
Compensation
Compensation is competitive, starting at $60,000 annually and varies based on experience. This role also includes participation in a commission plan and access to a comprehensive benefits package.
