TECHNICAL REPORT WRITER (ASSESSMENT AND RECLAMATION)

NorthWind Land Resources Inc. is an environmental consulting firm with offices in Edmonton, Calgary, Peace River and Athabasca and a field office in Edson, Alberta. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and finalize environmental reports, including Phase I/II ESAs, remediation, reclamation reports, DSAs, and regulatory submissions.
- Prepare, review, and finalize RoSC, and RCA submissions into OneStop.
- Compile and analyze field and laboratory data to support technical conclusions and recommendations.
- Work closely with project managers and field staff to ensure deliverables are completed on time and to high standards.
- Assist in the development of cost estimates, project scopes, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and ensure all reporting aligns with client requirements, provincial regulations, and corporate procedures.
- Provide occasional support for project coordination, document management, and data entry.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, preferably with a focus on remediation and reclamation.
- Strong technical writing skills with demonstrated experience preparing professional reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with environmental databases, SiteView, Matidor, or ESdat are considered an asset.
- Eligible for or working towards a professional designation with APEGA, ASPB, or AIA.
- Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
