Voici les 5 faits saillants.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1- Les jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations poss\u00e8dent moins la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Est-ce d\u00fb \u00e0 leur moindre budget ou \u00e0 une tendance plus profonde de consommation ? Toujours est-il que si la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision tient une place pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rante dans les foyers canadiens (plus de 94 % de taux de possession pour les personnes de plus de 43 ans), elle n&rsquo;est poss\u00e9d\u00e9e que par 81 % des 18-25 ans.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"917\" src=\"https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-14-1024x917.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-103965\" srcset=\"https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-14-1024x917.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-14-300x269.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-14-768x688.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-14.jpeg 1286w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>En termes de marques, Samsung (36 %), LG (18 %) et Sony (14 %) repr\u00e9sentent quasiment les trois quart du march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2- Les plateformes num\u00e9riques plut\u00f4t que la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision par c\u00e2ble<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sans surprise, les services de vid\u00e9o sur demande par abonnement (VSDA), type Netflix, Disney+, Crave ou Prime Vid\u00e9o, connaissent un large engouement au sein de la population: pr\u00e8s de 8 Canadiens sur 10 (78 %) poss\u00e8dent un abonnement \u00e0 l&rsquo;une de ces plateformes.<\/p>\n<p>Le pourcentage est l\u00e9g\u00e8rement moindre (66 %) pour les abonnements \u00e0 un service de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision payant (c\u00e2ble, satellite, fibre optique). La moiti\u00e9 des r\u00e9pondants (51 %) sont tout de m\u00eame abonn\u00e9s aux deux types de service.<\/p>\n<p>Pour quelles raisons garder un abonnement \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision traditionnelle ? Le contenu r\u00e9pondent les sond\u00e9s. Notamment pour regarder les nouvelles (47 %) ou les sports (41 %).<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1010\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-15-1010x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-103966\" srcset=\"https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-15-1010x1024.jpeg 1010w, https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-15-296x300.jpeg 296w, https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-15-768x778.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-15.jpeg 1180w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1010px) 100vw, 1010px\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><strong>3- Une connexion rapide \u00e0 domicile n&rsquo;est pas encore majoritaire<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bien que quasiment la totalit\u00e9 (94 %) des m\u00e9nages poss\u00e8dent une connexion Internet \u00e0 la maison, certains groupes d\u00e9mographiques, comme les Canadiens \u00e2g\u00e9s (81 %) et les m\u00e9nages \u00e0 faible revenu (87 %), rencontrent des difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 y acc\u00e9der. <\/p>\n<p>De mani\u00e8re surprenante, moins de la moiti\u00e9 des Canadiens (48 %) connaissent la vitesse de leur connexion Internet \u00e0 domicile. Et parmi ceux qui ma\u00eetrisent cette information, moins de la moiti\u00e9 (47 %) poss\u00e8dent une vitesse \u00ab\u00a0rapide\u00a0\u00bb exc\u00e9dant 500 m\u00e9gaoctets par seconde (Mo\/s).<\/p>\n<p><strong>4- Quel regard sur les publicit\u00e9s en ligne ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Un item qui va int\u00e9resser particuli\u00e8rement les marketeurs : plus de 4 Canadiens sur 10 (44%) ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 cliqu\u00e9 sur une publicit\u00e9 en ligne et pr\u00e8s de 40 % d&rsquo;entre eux ont effectu\u00e9 un achat apr\u00e8s les avoir vues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5- Une \u00ab\u00a0Netflix fatigue\u00a0\u00bb ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Au cours de la derni\u00e8re ann\u00e9e, les abonnements aux services de VSDA comme Netflix et Amazon Prime ont l\u00e9g\u00e8rement diminu\u00e9.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"642\" src=\"https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-16-1024x642.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-103967\" srcset=\"https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-16-1024x642.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-16-300x188.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-16-768x482.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/image-16.jpeg 1342w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>L\u2019augmentation des co\u00fbts, le retrait du partage de comptes et la lassitude quant au contenu peuvent avoir contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 cette baisse,\u00a0\u00bb tente d&rsquo;expliquer le rapport.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>C&rsquo;est une des raisons pour lesquelles ces plateformes ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 int\u00e9grer des publicit\u00e9s dans leurs programmes &#8211; en \u00e9change d&rsquo;\u00e9conomies sur les abonnements. Un march\u00e9 encore balbultiant : 13 % des r\u00e9pondants ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu une publicit\u00e9 sur Netflix et 19 % du Crave.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n<p><strong><em>M\u00e9thodologie <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Les r\u00e9sultats pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s sont bas\u00e9s sur le sondage de l\u2019automne 2023 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s de 8 959 r\u00e9pondants Canadians (dont 3 822 utilisateurs de cellulaire uniquement) dans toutes les r\u00e9gions du Canada, y compris les territoires. Les entrevues ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9es par Forum recherche entre le 12 octobre et le 30 d\u00e9cembre 2023.
