{"id":17458,"date":"2015-05-12T08:36:09","date_gmt":"2015-05-12T12:36:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/?p=17458"},"modified":"2015-05-14T09:48:04","modified_gmt":"2015-05-14T13:48:04","slug":"comment-envisage-t-on-lavenir-chez-spotify","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/comment-envisage-t-on-lavenir-chez-spotify\/","title":{"rendered":"Comment envisage-t-on l&rsquo;avenir chez Spotify ?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/spotify-logo-primary-horizontal-dark-background-rgb_0.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-17556 \" src=\"http:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/spotify-logo-primary-horizontal-dark-background-rgb_0-1024x463.jpg\" alt=\"spotify-logo-primary-horizontal-dark-background-rgb_0\" width=\"332\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">M\u00eame si les revenus provenant de la musique diffus\u00e9e en <em>streaming<\/em> connaissent des hausses impressionnantes, les sites qui la diffusent ont peine \u00e0 trouver un mod\u00e8le d\u2019affaires rentable, comme nous l&rsquo;\u00e9voquions dans un <a href=\"http:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/?p=16533\" target=\"_blank\">pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent article<\/a>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Un des plus gros joueurs de l\u2019industrie, Spotify, accumule les pertes malgr\u00e9 un bassin d\u2019abonn\u00e9s en forte croissance et une \u00e9valuation qui pourrait bient\u00f4t atteindre <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/spotify-nears-deal-to-raise-400-million-at-8-4-billion-valuation-1428700668\">8,4 milliards<\/a> de dollars.<\/p>\n<p>Jonathan Forster, vice-pr\u00e9sident des ventes de l\u2019entreprise, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketingweek.com\/2015\/04\/20\/spotify-on-driving-personalised-ads-dealing-with-jay-zs-tidal-and-plans-for-world-domination\/\">confi\u00e9<\/a> au magazine <em>Marketing Week<\/em> comment il entrevoyait l\u2019avenir du site.\u00a0Voici un r\u00e9sum\u00e9 de ses propos.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>De la publicit\u00e9 plus cibl\u00e9e, la solution \u00e0 court terme<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Spotify, dont les revenus publicitaires ont grandement <a href=\"http:\/\/fortune.com\/2015\/04\/21\/spotifys-ad-revenue-is-up-more-than-50\/\">augment\u00e9<\/a> au premier trimestre, <strong>permettra sous peu \u00e0 ses annonceurs de cibler des segments d&rsquo;utilisateurs selon leurs pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences musicales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019exemple donn\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;article de <em>Marketing Week<\/em> est celui-ci\u00a0: la publicit\u00e9 d&rsquo;une entreprise de BBQ pourrait appara\u00eetre \u00e0 un usager qui \u00e9coute une liste de lecture dont le th\u00e8me est li\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 et aux vacances (<em>Summertime playlist<\/em>). Je comprends qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit simplement d&rsquo;un exemple, mais ai-je vraiment besoin d\u2019un BBQ parce que j\u2019\u00e9coute la chanson <em>Miami<\/em> de Will Smith ? Je doute de la valeur ajout\u00e9e de jumeler pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences musicales et publicit\u00e9 cibl\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>En contrepartie, Spotify permettra le ciblage bas\u00e9 sur des variables comme l\u2019\u00e2ge, le sexe et l\u2019emplacement g\u00e9ographique, ce qui pourrait amener des r\u00e9sultats plus int\u00e9ressants<\/p>\n<p>Ces changements ne touchent pas les utilisateurs payants, qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u2019un service exempt de publicit\u00e9. Un autre bel exemple de l\u2019adage \u00abSi c&rsquo;est gratuit, vous \u00eates le produit\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Davantage de solutions \u00e0 long terme<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 long terme,\u00a0Forster\u00a0 juge r\u00e9aliste l&rsquo;atteinte d\u2019un milliard d\u2019abonn\u00e9s. Pour ce faire, l\u2019entreprise compte grandir gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents moyens, dont des <strong>partenariats<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Sa r\u00e9cente <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/technology\/playstation-gets-spotify-replacing-sony-s-music-unlimited-1.3014603\">association<\/a> avec Sony et la Playstation 4 ont d\u2019ailleurs amen\u00e9 <strong>deux millions de nouveaux abonn\u00e9s au site<\/strong>. Il n&rsquo;est pas non plus impossible que l\u2019entreprise puisse se diversifier et mettre en march\u00e9 ses propres produits d\u2019\u00e9coute.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les campagnes de publicit\u00e9 \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle ne sont pas \u00e9cart\u00e9es, mais de l\u2019aveu du vice-pr\u00e9sident, l\u2019entreprise n\u2019a pas le budget marketing appropri\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Et m\u00eame si Forster n&rsquo;a pas abord\u00e9 le point en entrevue, rappelons que selon plusieurs <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/05\/09\/business\/media\/as-spotify-expands-revenue-rises-and-losses-deepen.html\">sources<\/a>, \u00a0Spotify devrait annoncer \u00e0 la fin mai son arriv\u00e9e dans le march\u00e9 d\u00e9j\u00e0 tr\u00e8s concurrentiel du streaming vid\u00e9o.<\/p>\n<p>Toutefois, au final, <strong>le n\u0153ud du probl\u00e8me reste intact<\/strong>. Aux yeux de plusieurs <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/taylor-swift-explains-why-she-left-spotify-2014-11\">artistes<\/a>, Spotify verse trop peu de dividendes pour le nombre d\u2019\u00e9coutes d\u2019une pi\u00e8ce.
