Le journal, qui s&rsquo;est associ\u00e9 \u00e0 Facebook pour <em>Instant Articles<\/em>, continue de remettre en questions son offre de publicit\u00e9 mobile.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dans une <a href=\"http:\/\/adage.com\/article\/media\/york-times-plans-add-mobile-native-ads-september\/299814\/\">entrevue<\/a> accord\u00e9e r\u00e9cemment au magazine <em>Advertising Age<\/em>, Sebastian Tomich, vice-pr\u00e9sident Publicit\u00e9 et Innovation du New York Times, utilisait ces mots exacts : \u00ab <strong><em>Mobile advertising as a whole is just fairly crapp<\/em>y<\/strong>\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Comme d&rsquo;autres joueurs de l&rsquo;industrie, M. Tomich \u00e9met ainsi <strong>des doutes quant \u00e0 l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 de certains formats de publicit\u00e9 mobile<\/strong>. Par cons\u00e9quent, lui et son \u00e9quipe effectueront des changements \u00e0 leur offre d\u00e8s l&rsquo;automne. Alors que certains formats seront retir\u00e9s, d&rsquo;autres verront le jour.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>De la pub bas\u00e9e sur des moments cl\u00e9s de la journ\u00e9e<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>R\u00e9cemment, Google a amplement parl\u00e9 de son concept de <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thinkwithgoogle.com\/micromoments\/\">micro-moments<\/a><\/em>. Pour eux, l<strong>e processus d&rsquo;achat des consommateurs est fractionn\u00e9 en une multitude de petits \u00e9v\u00e9nements, chacun repr\u00e9sentant une opportunit\u00e9 \u00a0pour les annonceurs<\/strong> voulant toucher leur cible.<\/p>\n<p>Est-ce un hasard si un format publicitaire qui fera son apparition cet automne au New York Times est appel\u00e9 <strong><em>Mobile Moments<\/em><\/strong>? Ce type de publicit\u00e9, qui se veut <strong>moins intrusif et plus en accord avec le contenu \u00e9ditorial<\/strong>, sera toutefois clairement identifi\u00e9 comme de la pub.<\/p>\n<p>Les annonceurs pourront acheter des espaces publicitaires selon des moments cl\u00e9s de la journ\u00e9e (matin, retour \u00e0 la maison, etc.). <strong>Pour M. Tomich, <em>Mobile Moments <\/em>s&rsquo;apparente \u00e0 de petites histoires et il n&rsquo;h\u00e9site pas \u00e0 qualifier ce nouveau format de publicit\u00e9 native<\/strong>. Le contenu des messages pourra \u00eatre d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de cr\u00e9ation de contenu publicitaire du journal, ou encore par l&rsquo;annonceur.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Un enjeu de visibilit\u00e9<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ces nouveaux contenus ne seront toutefois pas si discrets. <strong>Ils pourront occuper jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 75\u00a0% de l&rsquo;\u00e9cran d&rsquo;un appareil mobile<\/strong>.
