C\u2019est une des conclusions tir\u00e9es de l\u2019ouvrage\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.conferenceboard.ca\/powerplay.aspx\" target=\"_blank\"><i><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Power Play: The Business Economics of Pro Sports<\/span><\/i><\/a>, co\u00e9crit par Glen Hodgson, \u00e9conomiste au Conference Board of Canada, et Mario Lefebvre, PDG de l\u2019Institut de d\u00e9veloppement urbain du Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<p>Selon les deux auteurs, quelques facteurs expliqueraient ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne, soit une offre limit\u00e9e combin\u00e9e \u00e0 une forte demande, dans un vaste march\u00e9 o\u00f9 le consommateur \u00a0\u00e0 un pouvoir d\u2019achat relativement \u00e9lev\u00e9. L\u2019attrait des m\u00e9dias pour le sport professionnel expliquerait aussi en partie ce contexte.<\/p>\n<p>Le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne pourrait \u00e9galement s\u2019appliquer \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, pour les Canadiens. Figurant depuis au moins dix ans dans le top 3 pour l\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/espn.go.com\/nhl\/attendance\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">assistance moyenne<\/span><\/a> aux parties, le Tricolore rencontre rarement les attentes des partisans en termes de performance, depuis sa conqu\u00eate de la Coupe Stanley en 1993. La valeur totale de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe reste toutefois la 3e plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e de la ligue \u00e0 ce jour.<\/p>\n<p>Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 du football professionnel,\u00a0 les Cowboys de Dallas, premiers pour la valeur de l\u2019\u00e9quipe et l\u2019assistance moyenne, d\u00e9\u00e7oivent aussi depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Comme quoi la victoire n\u2019est qu\u2019une partie de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience, mais aussi que la force de la marque est importante.<\/p>\n<p>Pourrait-on appliquer cette conclusion \u00e0 d\u2019autres\u00a0secteurs? Existe-t-il, par exemple, certains restaurants qui, m\u00eame si la bouffe n\u2019est pas toujours \u00e0 la hauteur, voient leur carnet de r\u00e9servation plein soir apr\u00e8s soir?
