Explications de sa th\u00e8se, ainsi que des r\u00e9sultats de son \u00e9tude.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le professeur en administration <a href=\"https:\/\/giesbusiness.illinois.edu\/profile\/jack-goncalo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Jack Goncalo<\/span> <\/a>est parti de l\u2019id\u00e9e suivante\u00a0: on vante \u00e0 tout vent la <a href=\"https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/dans-les-coulisses-de-la-factry-la-nouvelle-ecole-montrealaise-pour-apprendre-la-creativite\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 en entreprise<\/span><\/a>, alors qu&rsquo;on ne s\u2019est jamais int\u00e9ress\u00e9 aux cons\u00e9quences n\u00e9gatives que cela pouvait avoir sur les employ\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Quand on est cr\u00e9atif, on partage quelque chose \u00e0 propos de nous-m\u00eame permettant aux autres de nous juger, a-t-il expliqu\u00e9 dans le <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/news.illinois.edu\/view\/6367\/802424\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">communiqu\u00e9 de presse<\/a><\/span> accompagnant la publication de son \u00e9tude dans le <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a class=\"nova-e-link nova-e-link--color-blue nova-e-link--theme-bare\" style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/journal\/0146-1672_Personality_and_Social_Psychology_Bulletin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin<\/a><\/span>. Je crois que les gens \u2013 aussi bien les gestionnaires que les employ\u00e9s \u2013 doivent \u00eatre conscients des risques que \u00e7a implique.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Pour illustrer sa th\u00e8se, le professeur a men\u00e9 4 exp\u00e9riences distinctes visant \u00e0 d\u00e9montrer que les sessions de travail cr\u00e9atives poussaient in\u00e9vitablement les personnes \u00ab\u00a0\u00e0 se d\u00e9voiler\u00a0\u00bb. Concr\u00e8tement, l\u2019\u00e9quipe de recherche a demand\u00e9 aux participants d\u2019une <a href=\"https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/3-manieres-de-contrer-les-vices-du-brainstorming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">s\u00e9ance de remue-m\u00e9ninges<\/span><\/a> s\u2019ils avaient eu l\u2019impression de \u00ab\u00a0s\u2019\u00eatre d\u00e9voil\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb. Et comme attendu, les gens qui s\u2019\u00e9taient montr\u00e9s les plus cr\u00e9atifs avaient la plus forte impression de s\u2019\u00eatre d\u00e9voil\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Quand les personnes sont cr\u00e9atives, elles ne font pas seulement r\u00e9soudre des probl\u00e8mes. Elles r\u00e9v\u00e8lent quelque chose de profond\u00e9ment personnelle. Les id\u00e9es qui sont partag\u00e9es quand nous brainstormons et g\u00e9n\u00e9rons des id\u00e9es \u2013 elles ne sont pas juste des solutions abstraites \u00e0 un probl\u00e8me. Elles d\u00e9rivent de notre perspective unique et idiosyncrasique. On puise au plus profond de nous-m\u00eames pour partager quelque chose qui refl\u00e8te notre point de vue, et \u00e7a rend le processus risqu\u00e9, personnel et portant \u00e0 cons\u00e9quence.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">La cons\u00e9quence la plus n\u00e9faste, selon le professeur, est de subir la critique d&rsquo;un coll\u00e8gue sur des id\u00e9es tr\u00e8s personnelles que l\u2019on a exprim\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Quand une personne dit qu\u2019elle n\u2019aime pas une id\u00e9e, elle se trouve en fait \u00e0 rejeter la perspective ou le point de vue de la personne, ce qui est dangereusement proche de rejeter la personne elle-m\u00eame, ce qui est risqu\u00e9 dans un contexte de travail.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Par cons\u00e9quen<\/span>t, le professeur propose de porter une attention particuli\u00e8re \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/3-manieres-de-contrer-les-vices-du-brainstorming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">la mani\u00e8re dont se d\u00e9roulent les remue-m\u00e9ninges<\/span><\/a>, quitte \u00e0 garantir \u201cun plus grand anonymat\u2019 des participants, ou encore, \u00e0 mettre en \u00e9quipe des gens qui ont des \u201caffinit\u00e9s communes\u201d&#8230;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333399;\">Le syndrome du \u201con ne peut plus rien dire\u201d ?<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Cette prise de position du chercheur de l\u2019universit\u00e9 de l\u2019Illinois d\u00e9couragera sans doute les amoureux de la libert\u00e9 d\u2019expression tous azimuts, qui d\u00e9noncent le politiquement correct, l\u2019\u00e9mergence des <em>safe space<\/em>s.<\/p>\n<p>Ce genre de mise en garde sur les risques de la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 au travail semble effectivement alimenter l\u2019id\u00e9e que l\u2019on \u00ab\u00a0ne peut plus rien dire\u00a0\u00bb sans risquer de heurter la sensibilit\u00e9 de quelqu\u2019un, au travail comme ailleurs.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019ailleurs, on pourrait \u00e9mettre le m\u00eame avertissement aux gens qui font preuve <a href=\"https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/pourquoi-les-intrapreneurs-sont-ils-des-perles-rares-pour-les-recruteurs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">de sens de l\u2019initiative en entreprise<\/span><\/a>.
