Pas si vite, ont dit les auteurs du papier intitul\u00e9\u00a0: <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/10.1177\/09500170211015067\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/10.1177\/09500170211015067\" target=\"_blank\">Alienation Is Not \u2018Bullshit\u2019: An Empirical Critique of Graeber\u2019s Theory of BS Jobs<\/a><\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reprenons l\u2019histoire depuis le d\u00e9but. En 2013, l\u2019anthropologiste David Graeber a lanc\u00e9 une petite bombe dans le monde des \u00ab&nbsp;RH&nbsp;\u00bb en publiant <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.strike.coop\/bullshit-jobs\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.strike.coop\/bullshit-jobs\/\" target=\"_blank\">l\u2019essai <em>On the Phenomenon of Bullshit Jobs<\/em><\/a><em> <\/em>(lire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partage-le.com\/2016\/01\/08\/a-propos-des-metiers-a-la-con-par-david-graeber\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.partage-le.com\/2016\/01\/08\/a-propos-des-metiers-a-la-con-par-david-graeber\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ici en fran\u00e7ais<\/a>). Sa r\u00e9flexion est la suivante&nbsp;: avec l\u2019am\u00e9lioration constante des moyens de production, il se demande pourquoi la majeure partie de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 n\u2019est pas entr\u00e9e dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des loisirs annonc\u00e9e par <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/John_Maynard_Keynes\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/John_Maynard_Keynes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">John Maynard Keynes<\/a> (1930) ou <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Soci%C3%A9t%C3%A9_des_loisirs\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Soci%C3%A9t%C3%A9_des_loisirs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Joffre Dumazedier<\/a> (1960).<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 les t\u00e9moins de la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une grande vari\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019emplois et d\u2019industries depuis les ann\u00e9es 20, mais tr\u00e8s peu d\u2019entre eux ont un rapport avec la production et la distribution de sushis, d\u2019iPhone ou de baskets \u00e0 la mode&nbsp;\u00bb, note David Graeber. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>En occident, les nouveaux emplois sont rarement reli\u00e9s \u00e0 la production de nos biens de consommation. L\u2019anthropologue constate plut\u00f4t une prolif\u00e9ration des emplois en finance, en gestion, en marketing, en ressources humaines, qui, selon lui, n\u2019apporte pas de valeur ajout\u00e9e \u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. C\u2019est ce qu\u2019il appelle les \u00ab&nbsp;bullshit&nbsp;jobs \u00bb.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>C\u2019est comme si quelqu\u2019un inventait des emplois inutiles, dans le seul but de continuer \u00e0 nous faire tous travailler. &nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>David Graeber a repris ce propos dans un livre publi\u00e9 en 2018, o\u00f9 il pr\u00e9cise sa th\u00e8se avec des statistiques de l\u2019organisme gouvernemental YouGov au Royaume-Uni. Il avance alors que les emplois \u00ab\u00a0qui n\u2019en sont pas\u00a0\u00bb provoquent chez ceux qui les occupent un manque de sens. Le personnel administratif et de gestion, ainsi que les gens qui travaillent en finance et en marketing seraient selon lui plus enclins \u00e0 dire qu\u2019ils ne comprennent pas le sens ou l\u2019utilit\u00e9 de leur emploi. Contrairement aux gens qui font des empois \u00ab\u00a0vraiment utiles\u00a0\u00bb, mais souvent d\u00e9valoris\u00e9s, comme professeur ou infirmi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>En 2021, un groupe de chercheurs provenant des universit\u00e9s Cambridge et Birmingham au Royaume-Uni ont test\u00e9 la robustesse de sa th\u00e9orie en contre-v\u00e9rifiant cinq de ses affirmations.
