Est-ce r\u00e9ellement ce dont il s\u2019agit?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reprenons depuis le d\u00e9but. <\/p>\n<p>Le 12 juillet dernier, Prabhakar Raghavan, vice-pr\u00e9sident senior chez Google, a donn\u00e9 une entrevue devant public \u00e0 la conf\u00e9rence <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/fortune.com\/videos\/watch\/Brainstorm-Tech-2022-Organizing-The-Worlds-Information\/934585a6-7fb6-41a5-8ef3-e497f8ca2986\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/fortune.com\/videos\/watch\/Brainstorm-Tech-2022-Organizing-The-Worlds-Information\/934585a6-7fb6-41a5-8ef3-e497f8ca2986\" target=\"_blank\">Brainstorm Tech 2022<\/a>. Et il a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 ceci&nbsp;:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Dans nos recherches, presque 40% des jeunes, lorsqu\u2019ils cherchent une place pour diner, ne vont plus sur Google Maps ou Search. Ils vont sur TikTok ou Instagram.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Par la suite, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/09\/16\/technology\/gen-z-tiktok-search-engine.html\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/09\/16\/technology\/gen-z-tiktok-search-engine.html\" target=\"_blank\">le New York Times a investigu\u00e9 la question<\/a>, en parlant \u00e0 de jeunes adultes qui, effectivement, utilisent la plateforme pour d\u00e9couvrir de nouveaux \u00abcasses-cro\u00fbtes\u00bb mais aussi pour trouver de nouvelles recettes \u00e0 cuisiner, des films \u00e0 regarder, des artistes \u00e0 \u00e9couter. En septembre, le site NewsGuard a pass\u00e9 en revue des \u00e9chantillons de r\u00e9sultats de recherche sur des sujets d\u2019actualit\u00e9s, pour trouver que 20% des vid\u00e9os pr\u00e9sentaient de la d\u00e9sinformation sur une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de sujets, incluant les vaccins, les \u00e9lections am\u00e9ricaines de 2020 ou la guerre en Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>David Pierce, du site The Verge, a pour sa part choisi <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/23365101\/tiktok-search-google-replacement\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/23365101\/tiktok-search-google-replacement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">d\u2019utiliser syst\u00e9matiquement la plateforme chinoise <\/a>pour toutes ses recherches Internet. Sa conclusion&nbsp;: oui, TikTok offre une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 impressionnante de contenus th\u00e9matiques sur certains sujets, mais non, il est virtuellement impossible de trouver des r\u00e9ponses factuelles \u00e0 des questions simples, comme trouver l\u2019adresse d\u2019un restaurant ou l\u2019ann\u00e9e de naissance d\u2019un artiste.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Les recherches alimentaires, en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, sont une r\u00e9elle force de TikTok, dit-il. C&rsquo;est un outil excellent pour trouver une recette, particuli\u00e8rement une qui est simple; une recherche de recette pour faire des biscuits au chocolat m&rsquo;a amen\u00e9 vers un flux de toutes les variations imaginable de ce type de recettes\u00bb, illustre-t-il.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>TikTok agit aussi comme curateur de contenu. \u00c0 la question \u00ab<em>what to watch<\/em>\u00bb ou \u00ab<em>what to listen<\/em>\u00bb, on peut trouver une liste infinie de vid\u00e9os de gens nous pr\u00e9sentant leur top 5 des meilleurs films, s\u00e9ries, albums, chansons, etc.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Aucun des r\u00e9sultats de recherche que j&rsquo;ai obtenus n&rsquo;\u00e9taient personnalis\u00e9s ou donnaient l&rsquo;impression de comprendre mes go\u00fbts, et malgr\u00e9 tout, j&rsquo;ai tir\u00e9 quelques bonnes id\u00e9es de choses \u00e0 \u00e9couter. Et c&rsquo;\u00e9tait plus agr\u00e9able que de parcourir les affiches [de film ou de s\u00e9ries] de Netflix ou d&rsquo;\u00e9plucher les r\u00e9sultats de Google.\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Oui, TikTok a diversifi\u00e9 son contenu, et oui, les marques doivent s\u2019y int\u00e9resser<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ce qui est vrai, et ce qu\u2019il faut reconna\u00eetre de TikTok, c\u2019est que la plateforme chinoise a effectivement diversifi\u00e9 sa librairie de vid\u00e9os.
