On entend ce discours aussi bien dans les m\u00e9dias (voir <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bnnbloomberg.ca\/inflation-forces-over-half-of-americans-to-consider-second-jobs-1.1834718\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.bnnbloomberg.ca\/inflation-forces-over-half-of-americans-to-consider-second-jobs-1.1834718\" target=\"_blank\">Bloomberg<\/a> ou le <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/emploi.lefigaro.fr\/actu-emploi\/emploi-un-deuxieme-job-pour-faire-face-a-l-inflation-20221129\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/emploi.lefigaro.fr\/actu-emploi\/emploi-un-deuxieme-job-pour-faire-face-a-l-inflation-20221129\" target=\"_blank\">Figaro<\/a>) que dans le fil d&rsquo;actualit\u00e9 LinkedIn (voir <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/mathieustamant_1enjeu1opportunite-strategies-rh-activity-7004090221940113409-FlVZ?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=member_desktop\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/mathieustamant_1enjeu1opportunite-strategies-rh-activity-7004090221940113409-FlVZ?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=member_desktop\" target=\"_blank\">la publication de Mathieu St-Amand, CRHA<\/a>). Et si c&rsquo;\u00e9tait plut\u00f4t pour s&rsquo;affranchir de la tyrannie d&rsquo;un employeur unique que le mod\u00e8le s\u00e9duisait? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Une premi\u00e8re mise en contexte&nbsp;: selon les donn\u00e9es de Statistique Canada, les travailleurs canadiens ont d\u2019abord \u00e9t\u00e9 en mode \u00ab&nbsp;rattrapage&nbsp;\u00bb au chapitre du deuxi\u00e8me emploi. Cette conjoncture a amen\u00e9 plusieurs personnes \u00e0 conclure que les travailleurs se magasinent un second emploi pour des raisons \u00e9conomiques. \u00abL\u2019inflation force la moiti\u00e9 des Am\u00e9ricains \u00e0 se chercher un second emploi&nbsp;\u00bb,<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bnnbloomberg.ca\/inflation-forces-over-half-of-americans-to-consider-second-jobs-1.1834718\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.bnnbloomberg.ca\/inflation-forces-over-half-of-americans-to-consider-second-jobs-1.1834718\" target=\"_blank\"> titrait Bloomberg r\u00e9cemment<\/a>. \u00abSi la hausse du co\u00fbt de la vie pousse certains Fran\u00e7ais \u00e0 n\u00e9gocier leur salaire, 40% envisageraient un deuxi\u00e8me emploi pour s&rsquo;en sortir\u00bb, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/emploi.lefigaro.fr\/actu-emploi\/emploi-un-deuxieme-job-pour-faire-face-a-l-inflation-20221129\" target=\"_blank\">annon\u00e7ait pour sa part le Figaro<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Des recruteurs qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois ont fait la m\u00eame observation sur le terrain&nbsp;:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/embed\/feed\/update\/urn:li:share:7004090221231276033\" allowfullscreen=\"\" title=\"Post int\u00e9gr\u00e9\" width=\"504\" height=\"1313\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Et s\u2019il y avait une autre raison?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Des travailleurs assoiff\u00e9s d\u2019ind\u00e9pendance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Et si la raison (de vouloir un second emploi) relevait d&rsquo;abord et avant tout d\u2019un besoin d\u2019ind\u00e9pendance plut\u00f4t que d\u2019un besoin mon\u00e9taire? Apr\u00e8s tout, dans le contexte de p\u00e9nurie actuelle, un travailleur qui \u00ab&nbsp;manque d\u2019argent&nbsp;\u00bb peut d&rsquo;abord commencer par offrir plus d\u2019heures \u00e0 son employeur principal. Non? &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Si la pand\u00e9mie nous a montr\u00e9 une chose, c\u2019est que les travailleurs ont la bougeotte et qu\u2019ils ne veulent pas \u00eatre \u00e0 la <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/genevieve-provencher-la-flexibilite-au-travail-est-devenu-un-incontournable-aujourdhui\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"93230\" target=\"_blank\">merci d\u2019un employeur rigide<\/a>. En ayant un premier emploi \u00ab&nbsp;\u00e0 temps partiel&nbsp;\u00bb, disons de 3 \u00e0 4 jours semaines, et un second \u00ab&nbsp;au choix&nbsp;\u00bb, ou selon ses disponibilit\u00e9s, un travailleur peut assumer lui-m\u00eame sa flexibilit\u00e9 \u2013 sans avoir de permission \u00e0 demander \u00e0 son employeur principal.<\/p>\n<p>J\u2019ai <a href=\"https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/ma-theorie-sur-le-second-emploi\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/isarta.com\/infos\/ma-theorie-sur-le-second-emploi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pos\u00e9 la question sur LinkedIn<\/a>, \u00e0 savoir ce qui motiverait une personne \u00e0 occuper un second emploi. Plus int\u00e9ressant encore, de nombreux professionnels m\u2019ont directement \u00e9crit pour m\u2019expliquer les raisons qui les avaient pouss\u00e9s \u00e0 occuper un second emploi. Les raisons le plus souvent \u00e9voqu\u00e9es&nbsp;: \u00e9largir son r\u00e9seau professionnel, d\u00e9velopper son expertise dans un domaine connexe ou simplement faire des t\u00e2ches de nature diff\u00e9rente. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>J\u2019ai un deuxi\u00e8me emploi depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, m&rsquo;a \u00e9crit Ziyad. Je suis en entreprise et consultant marketing \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9. Ce qui motive ? Ne pas d\u00e9pendre d\u2019un employeur, \u00e9largir mon r\u00e9seau, obtenir de nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s professionnelles et augmenter mes revenus. Depuis que je fais \u00e7a, je ne vois que des avantages.\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Les employeurs doivent s\u2019adapter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En tant que ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne professionnel, le cumul d\u2019un second emploi semble \u00eatre une tendance de fond qui risque de se poursuivre et de s\u2019accentuer. Il est en progression depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es, et ce, dans tous les quartiles de revenus&nbsp;(voir \u00abTableau 2\u00bb plus haut). Et donc, les employeurs doivent s\u2019y ajuster. Sur LinkedIn, Mathieu St-Amant, CRHA, a bien expliqu\u00e9 le double impact que cela peut avoir sur les entreprises&nbsp;: &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Selon ma lecture de la situation, il y a deux fa\u00e7ons d\u2019aborder la question en tant que dirigeant d\u2019entreprise : 1) Tes employ\u00e9s font partie du lot et se magazine, eux aussi, une 2e job. \u00c7a, c\u2019est un enjeu important! 2) Tu as acc\u00e8s \u00e0 un nouveau bassin de main-d&rsquo;\u0153uvre, \u00e7a, c\u2019est toute une opportunit\u00e9 \u00e0 saisir. Surtout si tu cherches \u00e0 combler des postes.
