The F*** you pay me platform allows influencers to rate brands according to the quality of their partnerships.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lindsey Lee is an influencer known as @msyoungprofessional on Instagram, where she has close to 15 000 subscribers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like a lot of influencers, she relies on brand partnerships to generate revenues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet, the young American quickly realized that brands were not paying male influencers the same as female ones, white influencers the same as people of color, non-binary or trans influencers…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is why she started the F*** you pay me project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ranking brands partnerships<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal of that project is to make it easier for influencers to figure out what price to charge for their services and to help them avoid problematic brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only influencers who have already collaborated with brands can create a profile on the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To do so, they need to answer a questionnaire including several questions about their social media of choice, the size of their audience, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are also asked about their genders and their sexual orientation to \u201ccreate a track record of individual brand’s hiring patterns \/ commitment to diverse representation and hold brands accountable\u201d, as explained on the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once logged-in, influencers can review brands they have collaborated with in the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General feeling, type of compensation (free products, cash, expenses reimbursed\u2026), they can give an extensive review of their partnership, all of this anonymously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
