In the middle of summer, inspiration can be hard to find to get back to work. It is sometimes necessary in this period of calm to take a step back and measure the progress made. Here are two homemade suggestions for humorous graphics and illustrations on the new reality of email and telework in general. If these graphics make you smile, it is because there is some truth behind them…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emails, according to Sarah Cooper<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarah Cooper is the comedian who made herself known by making lip sync videos<\/a> on Donald Trump\u2019s audio tracks. However, before achieving this viral success on social media, the humorist was the creator of a humorous blog on the world of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We find this kind of homemade graphic, with scientific appearances, but with completely invented portions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is also the author of an infographic entitled \u201cHow<\/a> to Appear Smart in Emails\u201d; which advises workers to send random, pre-programmed messages during the day or night, to give the impression that we are still working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At trick number 9, Sarah Cooper elaborates the interesting theory that when a chain of emails reaches 25 replies, someone will necessarily suggest to hold a meeting to resolve the problem. Be that person suggesting the meeting first, she recommends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Telework, according to Irina Blok<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Irina Blok<\/a> is an American illustrator and designer known for creating the green Android logo associated with Google. At the beginning of the pandemic, she began to chronicle the new normal brought by the health crisis. Her sharp eye (and pencil!) sifts through the daily life of the pandemic, including the reality associated with telework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bit like Sarah Cooper, she draws false graphics that amplify the reality that many workers experience on a daily basis. Here is another example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
