Brown Communications Group is looking for a full-time Motion Designer / Videographer to join our Regina office. This role is all about storytelling through motion and visuals. You'll join our creative team to bring ideas to life through video, animation, and design, helping shape how audiences see, feel, and connect with our clients' brands.

You're not just creating videos and infographics. You're crafting stories that move people. From social animations and explainer videos to advertising campaigns, your work helps our clients stand out by making complex ideas simple, engaging, and memorable.

What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:

  • Concept, design, and animate motion graphics for digital, broadcast, and social platforms.
  • Shoot and edit video content, from interviews and testimonials to high-production brand and campaign pieces.
  • Collaborate with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, and Strategists to bring concepts to life.
  • Manage video projects from storyboarding through post-production.
  • Edit footage, mix sound, and perform colour correction.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and presentation development with the creative team.
  • Maintain an organized file structure for video and motion assets.
  • Ensure all projects meet brand standards, timelines, and technical requirements.

What You Bring:

  • A diploma or degree in Motion Design, Animation, Film, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven ability to design and produce motion content (please include a link to your demo reel or portfolio).
  • Strong illustration skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience in shooting and editing video content, including use of DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
  • Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and typography.

The Tools You'll Use:

  • Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Camera, lighting, and audio equipment (Fuji, Canon, Aputure, or equivalent).
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Frame.io, ShareFile, or similar review platforms.
  • Virtual meeting platforms: Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.

What You'll Need:

  • Valid driver's licenses.
  • Vehicle suitable for in-city projects.

Where You Could Go:

This role could evolve into a senior role on the creative team, overseeing major campaign productions, mentoring others, and helping define visual storytelling direction for our clients. How far you go depends on your creativity, initiative, and quality of the work we produce.
