ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time on-site role for an Account Manager located in Ottawa, ON. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, understanding client needs, and providing solutions with Sage and Acumatica products. Daily tasks include developing strong client relationships, resolving client issues, providing product demonstrations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
As a team member of the D&A Sales team, you are the face of D&A to our prospects and customers; their internal champion for the problems they need to solve. As their champion you will align D&A technical resources to achieve your customer’s business outcome. Our sales teams have a culture of team success, where you’ll collaborate and be supported by like minded sales professionals. This role typically reports to the VP of Sales.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are seeking a proven Account Manager to join our growing Sales team. As an Account Manager will act as a trusted advisor and implement sales strategies to exceed sales targets within targeted industries.
- Prospecting and lead generation: Identifying potential clients through market research, networking, and targeted outreach to establish new business opportunities.
- Client relationship management: Building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their ERP needs, and providing personalized solutions to address their unique challenges.
- Advisory: Collaborating with clients to understand their challenges and goals and offer expert advice.
- Market research: Keep up-to-date with technology partner solutions, competing solutions and competitor strategies.
- Proposal development: Preparing proposals and presentations that showcase our ERP products and advisory services, tailored to each client's requirements.
Collaborative teamwork: Partnering with our internal teams, to ensure seamless execution of our ERP solutions for our clients
QUALIFICATIONS
- Client relationship management and customer service skills
- Experience in selling ERP solutions, min. 3 years
- A strong understanding of accounting solutions, business solutions, ecommerce, ERP or CRM in a sales capacity is essential.
- Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles, including negotiating pricing and contractual terms to close a sale
- Proven experience in business development
- Strong communication skills in both English and French, written and spoken, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions
- Enjoy learning technology and can translate that into value for prospects
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Project management skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
WHAT YOU'LL BE MEASURED ON
- Driving revenue by meeting and/or exceeding sales quota on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
