In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job.
About the role
Successful candidates will gain a variety of experiences tailored to the latest trends in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks. You'll learn to translate mock-ups into functional components while mastering development workflows, version control, and cross-browser compatibility. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience implementing design systems, writing maintainable code, and optimizing performance for customers who visit TI.com.
As part of the program, you will get exposure to other disciplines such as: Digital Experience and Analytics, Technical Content Platforms, Web Content Platforms, Search, Product Portfolio Marketing and more. You will receive formal learning, projects and on-the-job development experiences helping you broaden your knowledge and accelerate your growth and success at TI.

About the Team
Our team oversees the user experience (UX) for more than 100,000 customers worldwide who visit TI.com and use our technology to change the world. We lead the UX strategy, research, interface & visual design, including front-end implementation across all customer touchpoints online. Our goal is to understand and anticipate our customers' needs by studying their online engagement and expectations. We aim to provide a seamless and frictionless experience that adds value for both our customers and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Design and build new reusable/modular functionality and component in HTML, CSS/SASS/SCSS, JavaScript that are tested with error-free, production ready code and contribute to an existing design system
- Maintain existing web components and work with deployment pipeline
- Perform peer reviews and provide feedback and approval for other Front-end Developers
- Troubleshoot bugs and research resolutions
- Research on technologies, document technical restrictions and dependencies
- Update and contribute to design patterns and web component library
- Resolve technical issues by coordinating with back-end developers and DevOps
- Consult with and provide functional feedback to UI/UX designers on designs
- Improve efficiency by performance focused thinking and efficient implementation techniques
- Participate in scrum meetings, sprint demos, create and update JIRA stories, subtasks

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Pursuing a Web Design & Development, User Experience Design, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with focus in marketing, or related degree.
- Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 GPA
- Strong online portfolio demonstrating a range of web-related development work a must
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript semantics and modern web framework such as Angular, Stencil or REACT, connecting with APIs
- Experienced with C, Java, Node.js, npm, Git and DevOps processes
- Understands fundamentals of user experience design principles, web development and web production
- Comfortable with UNIX command line interface
Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA)
