Proudly Canadian-founded and made, we are on a mission to share the magic and the science of Ayurveda with the beauty world. Sahajan has been featured in global publications including Vogue, O, Glamour and Elle, is multiple award winning and quickly growing. In addition to our strong e-commerce business, we are proud to partner with some of North America's top retailers including Sephora Canada, Credo Beauty and The Detox Market.

The Role:

  • Support the administrative needs of the Founder/CEO, including calendar management, email support, meeting setup, (including A/V and catering), expense reports and reconciliation, and travel arrangements.
  • Support the personal administrative needs of the founder/CEO where needed to ensure daily seamless business flow.
  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure a well-functioning, professional environment.
  • Manage office supplies and where needed vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate office maintenance, and facilities management.
  • Organize company events, meetings, and team-building activities.
  • Maintain records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Work closely with bookkeepers to support expense reconciliation and payment processing.
  • Liaise as needed with investors and other key stakeholders.
  • Co-ordinate influencer and other PR related packages from the office.
  • Assist in maintaining office inventory of Sahajan products.

Here's what we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree or College Diploma.
  • 2+ years in an administrative role.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of independence and can be relied upon to follow work through to completion.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, take initiative, exercise sound judgement, and anticipate needs.
  • Proven ability to establish valuable relationships within an organization.
  • The ability to cope well under pressure with little or no supervision.
  • High degree of professionalism, business maturity, common sense, and good judgement.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality on highly sensitive matters.
  • Willing to occasionally monitor email off-hours.
  • Driver's License with clean driving record and regular access to a car.

Additional Notes:

Authorization to work in Canada is required for this role.
