Do you have a passion for social media, storytelling, and capturing the magic of the West Coast? Are you creative, organized, and able to engage an audience through compelling content? If so, we want you to be the voice of Surf Grove online.

As Social Media Coordinator, you'll be responsible for showcasing the beauty, adventure, and community of Surf Grove Campground. This role is all about connecting with guests, sharing local happenings, and making sure our digital presence reflects the unforgettable experience of staying with us.

This part-time role (10-15 hours per week) pays $23/hour, with room to grow based on performance.

What You'll Be Doing

Content Creation & Social Media Management

Develop and post engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms, ensuring alignment with Surf Grove's brand.

Create a mix of stories, reels, scheduled posts, and live updates to keep our audience engaged.

Respond to guest comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, friendly manner.

Manage a content calendar and schedule posts based on key dates, promotions, and local events.

Coordinate with the Guest Services team to feature guest experiences, staff stories, and campground updates.

Monitor trends and leverage local news, events, and happenings to create relevant, timely content.

Engagement & Growth

Interact with guests, answer questions, encourage reviews, and build relationships with our online community.

Promote local businesses, restaurants, and attractions to enhance the guest experience.

Boost key posts and run basic social media ad campaigns when needed.

Track analytics and provide regular updates on engagement, reach, and follower growth.

Self-Management & Communication

Work independently while keeping the management team updated on all social media activities.

Coordinate with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Guest Services team to align messaging.

Ensure all posts and interactions reflect Surf Grove's authentic, inclusive, and enthusiastic brand voice.

What We're Looking For

Someone with a natural storytelling ability-you know how to make content engaging and relatable.

Experience managing Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.

Photography, video editing, and content creation skills are a strong asset.

Strong communication skills-you're able to write compelling captions, respond professionally, and engage guests in a friendly tone.A highly organized self-starter who can manage their own schedule and content calendar.

Bonus points if you're familiar with Tofino's local culture, events, and outdoor lifestyle!
