The Opportunity:

MCW is seeking an intermediate Marketing Coordinator to join our Vancouver, BC office and support pursuits and marketing content across Western Canada. This role is ideal for a confident proposal professional who can lead smaller submissions, support major pursuits through strong writing and coordination, and help improve the systems that keep proposal work efficient and consistent.

Reporting to the Business Development Leader – Western Canada, this position offers an excellent opportunity to apply existing skills while developing a professional career. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a positive attitude, working closely with the Western Canada leadership team and the marketing and communications team members across Canada.

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Vancouver, BC
Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 per year

What you will get up to:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery for small-to-mid RFQ/RFP submissions - scheduling, compliance matrix, coordination, draft development, production, and submission.
  • Maintain momentum on deadlines, follow up with contributors, and ensure a complete and compliant final package.
  • Support large, strategic pursuits by owning defined sections (e.g., project understanding/approach, QA/QC, team, resumes/project sheets, schedules).
  • Draft and edit persuasive proposal content based on technical input—translating complex information into clear, client-focused narratives.
  • Refine executive summaries, project descriptions, resumes/CVs, and case study content.
  • Maintain and improve templates, checklists, and reusable content packages.
  • Maintain pursuit tracking tools (proposal calendar, workload tracker, pipeline updates) and support our CRM system as needed.
  • Provide guidance to junior coordinators.
  • Other marketing and administrative tasks as needed.

Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in proposals/marketing coordination, communications, or a related role, ideally in professional services or Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, English, or a related field, is considered an asset.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills; ability to structure compelling proposal narratives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines and coordinate with contributors with minimal oversight.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and comfort working with technical subject matter experts and leadership.
  • Skills in Adobe Acrobat Pro and InDesign (or equivalent advanced layout experience) are considered an asset.
