General Description
The marketing team at Insight for Living Canada (IFLC) is responsible for producing, distributing, and promoting printed, audio, and digital resources. This position covers the marketing co-ordinator role during their maternity leave. The marketing co-ordinator supports IFLC by assisting with marketing initiatives that drive sales, fundraising, and awareness. They help develop and implement strategies to engage both current and new constituents, while ensuring quality and consistency across all materials. This role collaborates with internal teams to meet deadlines and contribute to the effective execution of marketing efforts. This is a one-year, salaried, hybrid position with a 40-hour workweek, expected to conclude in June 2027.
Qualifications
Certificate or diploma in marketing or equivalent relevant experience
Experience with digital marketing tools, platforms, and SEO
Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite and experience working with digital marketing tools and platforms, with the ability to learn new applications
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
Strong organizational and co-ordination skills
Ability to establish processes and implement directions from leadership
Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and producing high-quality work under short deadlines
Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
Able to work on-site at our Abbotsford office
Starting Salary Range
$54,000-$58,000 CAD per year, with an annual Health Spending Account of $2,000+
Core Job Functions
Marketing
Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns, promotions, and strategies that support sales, fundraising, and awareness
Help implement SEO, social media, and digital ad strategies (Facebook, Google, Bing, etc.) to enhance IFLC's digital presence and engagement
Support content strategy and the repurposing of marketing materials across channels
Assist in the development of new ministry resources to support marketing and outreach initiatives
Help co-ordinate external events such as tradeshows, exhibits, and donor dinners, as needed
Maintain email best practices and account compliance to ensure effective constituent communication
Administration
In conjunction with department director, co-ordinate project calendars, scheduling, and departmental processes to ensure timely completion of initiatives
Ensure marketing activities comply with budget in co-ordination with the communications and marketing director
Assist in quality control proofing and checking for print, audio, and web resources consistency, and adherence to brand standards
Implement and maintain quality control measures for marketing materials and communications
Track analytics, performance metrics, and sales, providing insights and recommendations to leadership as needed
Schedule print and electronic mailings as needed
Maintain the online store and staff library
Maintain evergreen marketing systems
Participate in approval processing for marketing materials and resources
Assist the communications and marketing team with ongoing projects and departmental needs as required
