Role Description:

As a Sales Manager, you will be leading our sales team from the front and working directly with customers. Developing and maintaining lasting relationships with The Bike Shop's customer base is the main goal of our sales team. Responsibilities include:

• Helping a wide variety of customers with all types of bicycle purchases and leading by example maintaining a high standard of sales volume personally.
• Working with sales team to ensure customers are given the best help possible.
• Setting individual and team goals to guide improvement and evaluating staff on key performance indicators.
• Continuous training and coaching of sales staff.
• Problem resolution in-store as well as customer follow-up after purchase.
• Providing input on product selection and placement within the store to facilitate sales and create a seamless in-store experience for customers.

Salary Range: $48,000 - $55,000/year

• Team Commission ($2-5/hour)
• Robust Quarterly Incentive Program

Job Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of bicycles and related accessories
• Sales skills, including customer engagement, co-shopping, and achieving targets
• Past management experience, mentoring and motivating staff
• Positive, outgoing, customer service personality
• Calm, levelheaded demeanor in stressful situations
• Experience utilizing Ascend POS system is an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Solid organizational and time management skills
