Social Craft Creative is a growing social media agency based in Edmonton, Alberta. We work closely with local businesses across a variety of industries, helping them show up online with clarity, consistency, and intention.

At SCC, we don't just post content, we develop thoughtful strategies and bring them to life through strong creative execution. We operate as an extension of our clients' teams and pride ourselves on building real relationships with the businesses we support.

As our client roster continues to expand, we are hiring a full-time Social Media Specialist to join our team in a more senior capacity.

The Role

This is a full-time, salary position (40 hours per week). The Social Media Specialist will play a key role in both strategy and execution, working closely with the Founder & Social Media Director to support and lead client accounts.

This role is hands-on, client-facing, and creative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned client accounts from strategy through execution
  • Collaborate directly with clients to understand their goals, brand voice, and audience
  • Develop and refine tailored social media strategies for each business
  • Plan and execute monthly content calendars
  • Capture on-site content at local businesses throughout Edmonton
  • Create high-quality graphics using Canva
  • Film and edit short-form video content
  • Write strategic, brand-aligned captions
  • Analyze performance metrics and create client reports with insights and recommendations
  • Monitor account performance and adjust strategy based on data
  • Participate in client meetings and strategy discussions
  • Maintain strong, professional client relationships
  • Support additional strategic or creative initiatives as the agency grows

This position is partially remote, with regular on-site client visits throughout Edmonton, AB. A vehicle and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in social media marketing
  • Hands-on content creation experience
  • Strong graphic creation skills and confidence using Canva
  • Photo and video editing skills
  • Clear understanding of strategy behind content - not just posting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working directly with clients
  • Ability to work independently and within a small team
  • Reliable phone and laptop
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or a related field is considered an asset. Experience within the industry is required.
