Position Description
Toa Consulting is seeking a highly organized and digitally capable Business Operations & Content Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations, communications, and digital presence of two growing entrepreneurial ventures: Toa Consulting, a boutique management consulting firm specializing in sport, governance, and community development, and Indus Valley Trading, a global trading company focused on product development, sourcing, and international import/export.
This position is well suited for a highly capable generalist who enjoys working across operations, digital content, project coordination, and product-related activities within a small, growing business. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that projects, communications, and digital assets remain organized, professional, and consistently maintained.

Working closely with the Managing Director, this role provides exposure to consulting projects, brand development, international trade, product development, and small business operations.
Key Responsibilities > Digital Content & Communications
- Format and schedule LinkedIn posts and professional content
- Assist with Instagram content and short-form video editing (e.g., reels)
- Create simple graphics using Canva for presentations, reports, and marketing materials
- Assist with preparing visual materials for presentations, proposals, and digital communications
- Maintain organized digital brand assets and templates
Key Responsibilities > Product and Brand Support
- Assist with product packaging layout updates and coordination with designers or printers
- Support product registration documentation and regulatory filings where required
- Assist with product catalogue development and formatting for buyers and distributors
- Help coordinate website updates and product listings (e.g., Shopify or similar platforms)
- Organize product specifications, supplier information, and documentation
- Assist with preparing sales sheets, marketing materials, and product information packages
- Support basic market research related to product categories and distribution channels
Key Responsibilities > Business Operations Support
- Assist with scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, and organizing appointments
- Support proposal, report, and presentation formatting
- Maintain organized digital filing systems and project documentation
- Assist with invoice preparation and administrative documentation
- Track project deadlines and deliverables
- Maintain and update contact lists and CRM records
- Support general operational coordination tasks as required
Key Responsibilities > Executive and Project Team Support
- Assist with meeting preparation and follow-up documentation
- Conduct light research and information gathering as requested
- Help organize notes, project documents, and supporting materials
- Assist with coordinating small operational tasks and logistics when required
Qualifications
- Professional experience in operations, communications, marketing, or administrative coordination
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience using Canva, Affinity or similar graphic design tools
- Experience (and curiosity) leveraging AI for content development
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and Instagram content management
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Preferred
- Experience updating websites (Squarespace, Shopify, WordPress, or similar)
- Familiarity with product packaging, product catalogues, or marketing materials
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut or similar tools)
- Experience supporting small businesses, startups, or consulting firms
