Key Objectives

  • Develop and implement predictive models and algorithms to address healthcare challenges.

  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to translate data into meaningful outcomes.
  • Support data-driven decision-making to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy machine learning models and statistical analyses tailored to healthcare applications.
  • Extract, clean, and preprocess large and diverse healthcare datasets from multiple sources.
  • Interpret and communicate analytical results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and security compliance.
  • Stay current with emerging data science techniques, tools, and industry trends relevant to healthcare.
  • Support the development of dashboards and visualization tools to monitor key performance indicators.
  • Contribute to research and development initiatives aimed at improving healthcare delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data science roles, preferably within the healthcare or hospital industry.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
  • Expertise in SQL and working with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
