Reporting to the Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer and serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Vice President provides enterprise leadership for destination marketing, brand strategy, communications, digital transformation, media relations, and audience insights. This role plays a critical part in shaping Ottawa Tourism's strategic direction while ensuring marketing investments generate measurable economic outcomes, including increased visitation, room nights, delegate attendance, and visitor spending.

The Vice President will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and communications strategies that elevate Ottawa's reputation as a vibrant, year-round destination. The role also serves as a senior spokesperson for the organization,representing Ottawa Tourism in domestic and international media and championing the city's stories through compelling destination storytelling

The successful candidate will bring significant senior marketing leadership experience, including a proven track record of delivering large-scale, integrated marketing initiatives with measurable impact. They will demonstrate strong expertise in digital transformation, data-driven marketing ecosystems, brand strategy, and reputation management. An accomplished relationship builder, the Vice President will be comfortable navigating complex partner environments involving industry, government, and community leaders while building high-performing teams and fostering innovation across the organization.

This position is based in downtown Ottawa and operates under a hybrid work model, with in-office presence expected three days per week.
