Maverick Industries is seeking a strategic and relationship-oriented Sales Account Rep to serve as the primary closer and relationship manager for our client accounts. While the SDR team initiates the pipeline, you are responsible for converting qualified leads into long-term partners and managing the ongoing growth of specific sectors, such as Intersteel or Mav Partner accounts.

Roles & Responsibilities

Ongoing Sales & Upselling: Proactively identify and close secondary sales opportunities by matching Maverick's complex manufactured solutions to the client's expanding project requirements.

Account Management: Manage the full sales cycle for repeat business within assigned divisions, such as Intersteel or Mav Partner, ensuring Maverick remains the primary vendor.

Requirement Alignment: Conduct continuous needs assessments to understand changes in a partner's pain points, budget, and timeline for future equipment or service needs.

Cross-Team Handoff: Coordinate with the Customer Engagement Coordinator to ensure that marketing efforts and retention strategies support the overall sales growth of the account.

Strategic Closing: Navigate the negotiation process for contract renewals and expanded service agreements to ensure successful closing of recurring revenue.

Technical Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Engineer to provide technical support and ensure upsell specifications meet rigorous industrial standards.

Relationship Partnership: Transition one-time buyers into long-term partners through consistent commercial engagement and high-level account strategy.

Requirements:

Experience: 3+ years in B2B industrial sales or account management, with a specific emphasis on growing existing client revenue.

Sales Aptitude: Proven ability to identify upselling triggers and close complex, multi-layered deals within the manufacturing or waste sectors.

Communication: Exceptional ability to engage with business decision-makers to articulate Maverick's ongoing value proposition.

Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track account history, deal stages, and partnership health.

Professional Standards: Adherence to all company SOPs, safety standards, and respectful communication

Goals, KPI's & Standards

Upsell Growth Rate: Percentage increase in account value through additional products or services.

Partnership Conversion: Rate at which initial customers are successfully converted into long-term Intersteel or Mav Partner accounts.
