Position Summary
Avena Foods is seeking a Senior Associate, Marketing and Sales Analytics for an 18-month contract. This role is a key member of the Sales and Marketing team, with a primary focus on SEO and digital marketing, supporting online visibility, content creation, lead generation, and analytics-driven sales insights.
Location: Regina, SK (Primarily in-office; flexibility may be provided after training)
Reports To: VP, Sales and Marketing
Key Responsibilities
- SEO & Digital Marketing: Lead SEO strategy, monitor search performance, manage Google Ads campaigns, and optimize website and content for search visibility.
- Website & Online Presence: Maintain corporate website (WordPress), create/update web pages, blogs, and digital content.
- Social Media & Campaigns: Plan and execute digital campaigns and social media strategies; develop content calendars; monitor analytics.
- Marketing Collateral: Design and develop sales presentations, newsletters, point-of-sale materials, graphics, and videos.
- Sales Analytics & Reporting: Maintain sales data, prepare forecasts, track pipeline, and provide actionable insights.
- Events & Lead Management: Support tradeshows, maintain lead databases, and track marketing ROI.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitors, industry trends, and market gaps to support strategic recommendations.
- Administrative & Corporate Social Responsibility Support: Coordinate team administrative tasks and lead corporate social responsibility initiatives and community engagement programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing with strong focus on SEO
- Proficiency in website content management systems (WordPress preferred)
- Expertise in SEO best practices, keyword research, Google Ads, and Google Analytics
- Experience with design and media tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
- Knowledge of food science or the food industry is an asset
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
