About the position
Haywood Securities Inc. is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team in our Vancouver office. Reporting to a member of the Executive team, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of Haywood's brand and marketing strategy to support business growth, client acquisition, and advisor engagement. This role oversees brand development, marketing materials, digital presence, advertising, events, social media, and CRM initiatives, while ensuring alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the company's brand strategy, including positioning, messaging, and visual identity. Establish brand standards and ensure consistency across all communications and marketing materials.
- Oversee external website content and updates.
- Design, standardize, and maintain approved marketing collateral, client forms, and templates. Develop and maintain the corporate pitch deck and core presentation materials, ensuring all content meets regulatory requirements.
- Create and execute integrated advertising and media plans aligned with client acquisition objectives. Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve effectiveness and return on investment.
- Lead the organization's participation in industry conferences, community initiatives, and business events.
- Maximize sponsorship and co-marketing opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
- Develop and grow the company's social media presence. Support investment advisors in establishing compliant social media accounts and monitor activity to ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory policies.
- Be part of a team supporting CRM implementation, which will be tasked with training, adoption, and ongoing optimization to enhance lead management and client engagement.
- Provide strategic and tactical support for ad hoc marketing requests, collaborating cross-functionally with compliance, leadership, and advisor teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally within financial services or another regulated industry.
- Proven experience building and leading brand strategy initiatives.
- Strong background in digital marketing, CRM systems, and integrated campaign development.
- Demonstrated ability to balance creativity with regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication, project management, and leadership skills.
