Administrative Assistant
Atlantic Operations is a wholly owned subsidiary of St Barbara Limited, an ASX listed gold producer and explorer with mining assets in Canada and Australia.
We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant. This role is a full time, permanent position, reporting to the Senior Office & Payroll Administrator and will be based out of our Stellarton office.
The Opportunity:
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, copying, scanning, data entry, etc.
- Maintain and update employee records and personnel files
- Support Accounts Payable with invoice tracking and receiving
- Support Payroll with time entry, journal entries and monthly accruals as needed
- Responsible for the delivery and scheduling of orientations for new employees, contractors, and suppliers
- Responsible to ensure that site orientation is up to date and that any changes required are implemented
- Responsible to ensure that the training system is maintained up to date
Our successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Two years of administrative assistant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is desired
