Pay: CA$75,000 to CA$100,000 per year (base plus commission)

About the role

We're a digital marketing agency looking for an experienced Account Manager to own a portfolio of client accounts. Working closely with our leadership team, you'll keep clients happy and up to date, be their main point of contact, and look for new opportunities to grow each account.

What you'll do

Client relationships

  • Manage your assigned client accounts and be their main point of contact.
  • Build long-term relationships and keep clients confident in the work we deliver.
  • Keep clients up to date on the status of their work.
  • Join kickoff and onboarding meetings for the accounts you take on.
  • Write and deliver client proposals.
  • Handle invoicing and general client admin.

Growing your accounts

  • Get to know each client's business well enough to see what they need next.
  • Recommend and close additional services and projects within your existing accounts.
  • Keep your accounts active and retained, and grow the revenue they generate over time.
  • Work with our leadership team on a plan to grow your book of accounts.

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of account management experience, ideally at an agency.
  • A track record in client-facing roles.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Methodical, logical and highly organized.
  • A team player.
  • Business and accounting skills are a bonus.

We're after a highly organized person with strong communication skills and leadership qualities who wants to work in a small, talented team.

Compensation

The range above is base salary plus commission. On top of your base, you'll earn:

  • Commission on new business you bring in within your accounts, with no cap.
  • A quarterly retention bonus based on how well you keep and grow your client portfolio.

Strong performers reach CA$100,000+, and commission is uncapped.
