Marathon Targets designs, manufactures, and operates autonomous robotic target systems to provide the most realistic live fire training in the world.

The focus of this position is in the area of Business Development and customer support. This involves ensuring successful implementation for new and existing customers and seeking new opportunities, primarily in the military and law enforcement communities. This role involves a moderate amount of travel for demonstrations and attending service delivery events. The position may also help with logistics of receiving shipments as the company representative in Canada.

Tasks

Primary tasks include:

• Serving as a point of contact for Marathon's Canadian customers
• Developing Customer relationships and working to facilitate growth with current customers as well as developing new business opportunities
• Assisting with logistics for service delivery to Marathon's Canadian customers

Qualifications/Experience

• Prior business development experience working with military, Law Enforcement or government entities
• Must be organized and detail-oriented, and must demonstrate strong time management skills and be able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects with limited supervision.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage shifting priorities.
• Must be able to develop and maintain professional relationships with peers, vendors and customers, and contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Must hold or be eligible to hold security clearance.
• Canadian Military or Law Enforcement background is a bonus.
• Weapons proficiency and qualification is a bonus.

This position is Full-time and is remote (preferably in the Ottawa, ON area).
