FINANCE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Title: Finance Administrative Assistant

Location: Regina, SK, Head Office

Employment: Part Time - 15-20 hours

Compensation: $17.50-$21.00/hr with benefits, RRSP matching, and professional development

Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexibility required based on operational needs)

Street Culture Project (SCP) is seeking a Finance Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day financial administration of our organization. Working closely with the Director of Finance & Administration, you'll help maintain accurate financial records, process invoices and receipts, support accounts payable activities, and ensure our financial documentation is organized and audit-ready.

What You'll Do

As the Finance Administrative Assistant, you will support the Finance & Administration department by ensuring financial information is processed accurately, documentation is maintained, and administrative systems operate efficiently. You will:

Finance & Administration

Process receipts, invoices, expense claims, and supporting documentation using Dext

Enter accounts payable transactions and financial data into QuickBooks

Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

Assist with donation tracking, grant documentation, and financial recordkeeping

Support monthly reconciliations and other recurring finance processes

Organize digital financial records within Google Drive to ensure documentation is complete, secure, and easily retrievable

Assist with maintaining organized financial files in preparation for audits and reporting requirements

Office Administration

Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide professional customer service to visitors and community members

Manage shared calendars, meeting schedules, and administrative coordination

Prepare meeting materials and assist with meeting logistics

Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems

Order office supplies and support the day-to-day operations of the Finance & Administration department

Provide general administrative support to leadership and the Finance team as required

What You Bring

You are organized, dependable, and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.

You bring:

0-2 years of experience in office administration, finance, or basic bookkeeping

Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, including invoices, receipts, accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial documentation

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks accurately

Comfort working with data, systems, and recurring processes

Experience with or willingness to learn tools like QuickBooks and Dext

Strong communication skills (phone, email, and in-person)

Proficiency in Google Workspace and Excel

A proactive, reliable, and team-oriented approach to work

Additional Requirements

Valid SK Class 5 Driver's License

Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Clearance
