Position Summary

The Communication & Marketing Manager will play a critical role in shaping and elevating our brand presence, enhancing external and donor relationships and supporting overall organizational goals and objectives at Chrysalis. Reporting to the President & CEO, we are seeking a dynamic and results-drive Communication and Marketing Manager to lead and execute comprehensive strategies that promote our brand, engage stakeholders and drive donor growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to deliver impactful, data-driven marketing initiatives. What You'll Do!
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement
  • Oversee all marketing functions including content creation, branding, creation and distribution of all marketing materials, social media, managing metrics, website maintenance, events
  • Manage all internal and external communications including monthly newsletter, promotional materials, campaigns
  • Engage and create relationships in the community for public relations and stakeholder relationships
  • Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns using key metrics to optimize future efforts
  • Oversee marketing budgets, timelines, and project plans to ensure the timely delivery of campaigns and initiatives
  • Oversee the organization of fundraising events

What We Need From You!

  • Knowledge of Branding: excellent understanding and working knowledge of brand building and brand management
  • Communication and Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels and community
  • Creativity: creative mindset with the ability to think outside the bod and develop innovative marketing ideas
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to master the art of managing many projects at the same time
  • Analytical: excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and made data-driven decisions
  • Strategic Leadership: Ability to develop and execute marketing and communication strategies that align with organizational goals and drive business results
  • Clearance: a clear Police Check with Vulnerable Sector within the last six months

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in marketing, communication, public relations, or a related field
  • Experience: 3 - 5 years in marketing, communications or public relations, preferably in a nonprofit organization
  • Technical skills: G-Suite, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suit, Mailchimp, and other marketing and communications programs
  • Knowledge: clear understanding of marketing, communications and public relations
