We are looking for a driven professional to coordinate outreach efforts, organize high-impact events, and engage with industry stakeholders across the province. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and confident in managing multiple projects while representing FORSEC at career fairs, trade shows, and major industry events.

FORSEC is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to developing a skilled and professional workforce for Nova Scotia's forest industry. We collaborate with partners to identify and solve labour challenges. Our strategic priorities are talent attraction and retention, skill development, and human resource planning. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Outreach and Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting FORSEC's outreach and event initiatives to promote careers in Nova Scotia's forestry sector. This role involves assisting with career fairs, school presentations, and trade shows, as well as coordinating logistics for industry events, including two major annual conferences and additional stakeholder gatherings. The Outreach and Events Coordinator will collaborate with internal teams, industry partners, and community organizations to support workforce engagement efforts.

This is a full-time hybrid position. The successful candidate must be based in Nova Scotia and will be required to attend in-office meetings in Truro Heights once per week. This role requires frequent travel across Nova Scotia to industry events, career fairs, and stakeholder meetings.
