Primary Location: Burnaby, BC (Head Office)

Position Summary:

As a Marketing Coordinator at Binary Stream Software, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall marketing efforts of our dynamic team. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will assist in coordinating various marketing activities and campaigns to promote our solutions to our partners and end users. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates looking to propel their marketing career while contributing to the success of our company.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Campaign Support:

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, and events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content and creative assets for campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and provide insights for optimization.

Content Coordination:

  • Support the content creation process by assisting in research, drafting, and editing marketing materials such as blog posts, case studies, and whitepapers.
  • Maintain content calendars and ensure timely delivery of content according to the marketing plan.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of virtual and in-person events, including webinars, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Coordinate logistics, manage registrations, and provide on-site support during events as needed.

Digital Marketing Support:

  • Assist in managing social media accounts, including content scheduling, monitoring engagement, and responding to inquiries.
  • Help maintain and update the company website with relevant content and information.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and managing documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining marketing databases and CRM systems.

Technical Skills and Other Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or HubSpot.
  • Knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics or HubSpot Analytics.
  • Passion for technology and the SaaS industry.

Compensation and Benefits Package:

At Binary Stream, we know compensation is important to our people. To stay competitive with our pay and benefits, annually we collect and analyze industry benchmarking data from the technology sector across Canada. This data is used to regularly update our salary ranges.

Pay range for new employees: 51,300 - 61,600 CAD

Pay Range Insights: This pay range signifies the minimum and maximum for a new hire in this role. The pay we offer a successful candidate will be determined by factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and experience. In exceptional cases, the compensation we offer may fall outside this range.
