Duties & Responsibilities:
Marketing and Communications Intern
- Write and edit engaging copy for various marketing channels and conduct market research to analyze customer insights
- Assist in planning and executing marketing events and campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and brand positioning
- Monitor social media engagement and compile statistics.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop design concepts and present rough drafts/mock-ups
- Assist in the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and promotional materials
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications activities and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

- Recent post-graduate from Marketing, Communications or similar field
- Critical thinking mindset, keen attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills
- Creativity, ability to think outside the box, familiarity with social media platforms, and digital marketing concepts
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

The youth internship will last a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months. The candidate must work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The candidate must also be:
- 15 to 30 years of age at the start of the internship
- a post-secondary graduate
- a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada or person granted refugee status in Canada
- legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial legislation and regulations
- a first-time participant in a Youth Employment and Skills Strategy work experience program targeted at post-secondary graduates
