Make your mark while you grow your career. Canadian Natural's NGL Marketing Coordinators play a crucial role in supporting marketing activities for NGL, Sulphur, and Petcoke products. Their responsibilities encompass contract negotiations, market analysis, and driving process improvements. By leveraging their expertise in market trends and infrastructure opportunities, they ensure successful execution of marketing strategies while complying with industry regulations. These coordinators also foster positive relationships with stakeholders and actively contribute to maximizing efficiency and profitability across all phases of the marketing process

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maximize profitability of Canadian Natural produced NGL through price negotiation, Fractionation Agreements, Storage Contracts, and transportation.
  • Work closely with Production, Plant personnel, trucking companies, and Fractionator and Pipeline operators to ensure all deliverables are met, including responding to requests from Canadian Natural Production Teams.
  • Manage Take or Pay commitments for Fractionation and Transportation Agreements, and balance butane supply with demand requirements at CNR heavy oil production and blending locations.
  • Negotiate all spot and term propane and butane purchases and sales, and develop long-term plans for butane supply to heavy oil blending facilities.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with NGL producing and consuming companies, as well as pipeline and fractionation industry contacts, while adhering to Canadian Natural policies and procedures.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience within an oil & gas environment with a university degree in Engineering or Commerce degree.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of oil and NGL markets in western Canada.
  • Demonstrate well-developed analytical, organizational, and team skills.
  • Be proficient in using MS Office word-processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication and time management skills
