JOB PURPOSE

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a world leader in the tire manufacturing industry, Hankook Tire Canada is seeking a self-motivated experienced Communications Assistant to join our successful Marketing team immediately.

The Communications Assistant develops and implements the brand communications plan and works across departments with the sales and marketing teams. A successful candidate is a self-starter, enjoys problem solving, and is a team player. Our Brand & Channel Strategy team works to enhance Hankook's brand awareness in Canada and collaborates with our counterparts in the North American Headquarters and Global Headquarters.

The new hire will report to the Marketing Director.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate co-marketing activities with external partners and develop new programs to enhance
  • brand communication
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the dealer incentive programs
  • Develop and implement content calendars for social media, e-mail campaigns, media advertising,
  • and SEM
  • Manage production of written communication and coordinate product updates on the website
  • Lead production of merchandise an maintain inventory
  • Develop and execute partner engagement events
  • Support media engagements and consumer events
  • Assist in the execution of sponsorship activations and hospitality
  • Provide a report on vendor/agency status and process invoices
  • Perform audits to protect brand identity
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks and work streams with competing priorities
  • Other responsibilities within the Marketing Team may be shared

QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College/University graduate in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or other relevant disciplinesAbout 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Design Suite is an asset
  • Fluent in English, French is an asset
  • Team player with exceptional work ethic
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
