We are currently looking for a dynamic, creative, and passionate Marketing Manager to join our team!

The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the Spire Mortgage Team Marketing Department and spearheading initiatives that support business growth, enhanced client experiences, and lead generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Develop and execute a vibrant social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn. Create compelling content (graphics & video), manage posts, engage with and grow our audience, and measure the impact of different content types on various platforms.
  • Blog Creation: Brainstorm and write new blogs, focusing on trending industry topics, coordinating with partners, conducting research, and consulting with SMEs.
  • Video Editing: Edit raw footage using DaVinci Resolve, Captions, and CapCut or InShot to create compelling content for social media.
  • SEO Management: Optimize the Spire website and content for search engines to improve our visibility and ranking. Stay abreast of the latest SEO strategies and algorithms, and adjust our approach accordingly.
  • Experiential Marketing: Plan and develop assets for experiential marketing initiatives that resonate with our target audience, creating memorable brand experiences.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our company's goals and vision. Implement initiatives that drive brand recognition and customer engagement. Set KPIs and measure success using various metrics.
  • Budget Management: Develop, implement, and monitor the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
  • Referral Partnership Assets: Create and manage marketing assets for current and potential referral partners, reinforcing our network and fostering collaborative growth.
  • Email Marketing: Develop and refine email marketing campaigns for both new and existing clients, ensuring content is personalized and conversion-focused, driving engagement and retention. Facilitate the creation of our monthly newsletter.
  • Website Maintenance and Development: Update existing websites and create new websites, ensuring they are optimized for user experience, SEO, and conversion.
  • Document Processes and Procedures: Document and organize marketing processes and procedures for Spire Mortgage Team. Manage the Marketing Dropbox and Spire Intranet Space. Create weekly marketing reports.

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Must be located in Calgary and able to commute to the office a minimum of 1-2 days per week and on an as-needed basis for content creation or partnership events.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of marketing experience, with an emphasis on content creation. Bonus points for experience in the lending/financial services, real estate, or housing industry.
  • Eager to learn and adapt to new challenges. Excited about brainstorming new marketing projects and ideas. Confident working independently and able to effectively self-manage.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, maintain successful relationships, negotiate, and navigate difficult situations with respect and understanding.
  • Strong organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Comfortable using Social Media Platforms & Analytics, Hubspot, Meta Ads, G-Suite, Dropbox, DaVinci Resolve, and Squarespace-or similar programs.
