POSITION SUMMARY:

We continue to expand our footprint in the Greater Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver areas.

The Commercial Marketing Specialist will work with the Commercial Marketing and sales team to plan, develop, and implement lead and demand generation marketing strategies, lead marketing campaigns, and to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Working with the management team to clearly define the company's brand and ensure that the brand is represented per standards both internally and externally.
  • Assist in developing comprehensive strategic marketing campaigns and conducting database assessments.
  • Work with the management team to clearly define the ideal customer, prospect base and buyer persona and how best to target them.
  • Build prospect lists for campaigns, supply to sales and ensure deployment complies with CASL regulations.
  • Analyze existing customer data and services to identify missed revenue opportunities through upselling and cross-selling tactics.
  • Utilize existing prospecting resources, such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, internal database and propose new resources available in the market.
  • Make strategic process improvement suggestions where needed.
  • Increasing our online & community presence as extensions of our brand.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners.
  • Identify and maintain sponsorship and speaking opportunities which align with our brand values and provide Beanfield exposure through thought leadership.
  • Strategize, plan, and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in the execution of integrated online/offline search engine marketing, advertising, public relations, tradeshows and other campaigns to generate demand and increase net subscribers.
  • Provide in-depth reporting and key learnings, before, during and post-campaign.
  • Keep promotional and marketing materials relevant: updating copy and creative, placing orders, pricing, inventory, site drop offs and verifying invoices.
  • Market Research: have a solid understanding of the Commercial competitor landscape, informing key stakeholders of competitor footprint, pricing, tactics, etc.
  • Research and present market and industry trends while making strategic recommendations.
  • Maintain media vendor relationships, assess and negotiate where cost savings can be made.
  • Overseeing any Commercial Marketing Coordinators and Marketing Intern hires.
  • Assisting with content where needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Experience working with people is a MUST!
  • 5+ years' experience working a relevant role
  • Understanding of the telecommunications industry
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on various projects at any given time
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, as this role will be responsible for a lot of reporting and data analysis
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Proficiency in French while not required, is an asset.
