JOB DESCRIPTION

Breakfast Club of Canada is currently seeking a Digital Marketing and Performance Specialist based in Canada to enhance the success of its digital communications and marketing strategies. Reporting to the Senior Branding, Web and Advertising Advisor, the Digital Marketing and Performance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of Breakfast Club of Canada’s digital ecosystem and for continually optimizing and refining its web platforms and digital campaigns. The incumbent will also support the entire Marketing team in producing and analyzing digital performance reports.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

User experience

  • Continually improve the website user experience and perform A/B and other types of testing.
  • Update and optimize website content.
  • Identify website issues and correct them or have them corrected by the appropriate person(s).
  • Periodically verify the correct operation of the website’s consent banner.
  • Stay current with new trends and best practices in UX and digital marketing.
  • Work with the IT team and CRM users to implement new features.

Digital campaigns and performance analysis

  • Optimize the website’s SEO and SEM.
  • Set up and produce performance reports, primarily using GA4 and social network data.
  • Help analyze data and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor GA4 data to detect anomalies, identify opportunities and gain insights.
  • Develop a UTM parameters strategy and supervise its implementation by internal and external teams.
  • Work with our agencies to create, deploy, analyze and refine digital multi-platform campaigns.
  • Manage the administrative aspects of assigned projects.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary credentials in digital marketing or another relevant field.
  • Good understanding of best practices in SEO and SEM, user experience and user interface.
  • Knowledge of digital ecosystems, including social media, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads (Google Analytics and/or Google Ads certifications, an asset).
  • Two or more years of experience managing websites, including content management systems (WordPress) and performance analysis (GA4).
  • Comfortable with technology and IT architecture.
  • Experience managing transactional websites, an asset.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and French (French is the working language at the BCC head office, and English is the working language for regular meetings and documents involving co-workers outside of Quebec and for dealings with many suppliers).
