Brown's Industrial is accepting resume for an experienced service writer/warranty admin clerk. This position is based out of Lloydminster location with a 5 and 2 shift rotation. Experience in heavy equipment and warranty administration is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Checking in vehicles/equipment for the mechanics
- Understanding maintenance schedules for vehicles/equipment
- Helping customers understand the vehicle requirements
- Recommending other services that may be beneficial to the vehicle
- Note problems accurately, and clearly describe them on the repair order
- Estimate costs and completion times at point of sale. Clearly communicate them to customer.
- Review work-in-progress to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Open & close all customer paid, warranty, and internal repair orders.
- Promptly notify customers of any changes, delays, or additional work needed. Maintain open lines of communication with customers throughout the repair process
- Knowledge of trucks/trailer & heavy equipment would be considered an asset.
