About : White Ash Group is currently recruiting a Controller to join a fully licensed cannabis company.

Marketing & Campaign Management:

  • Co-develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with company goals and market trends
  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and identity to ensure consistency across all touchpoints
  • Manage the update of company's digital footprint, refreshing the necessary content (new strains, blog posts, etc.) and optimizing the content for UX
  • Plan and manage content for content (Instagram, Twitter, e-newsletter) to coincide with product launches, events and brand initiatives
  • Work in conjunction with third party graphic designers to create various marketing assets, in accordance with our Brand Standards
  • Work with third party photographer to sufficiently support all content capture requirements, fulfilling requirements from product listings to social posts

Trade Marketing & Sales Support:

  • Manage the creation and deployment of all key trade tools, including but not limited to strain cards, sell sheets, retail displays, etc.
  • Manage trade tool distribution platforms, ensuring smooth deployment and sufficient on hand inventory
  • Manage all key trade education channels, developing & optimizing the content that supports our retail education strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product development, customer service) to ensure cohesive marketing efforts
  • Manage experiential strategy, coordinating all elements from asset development to day of execution details

Product Launch & Innovation:

  • Collaborate with the head of marketing on innovation pipeline, based off refined understanding of consumer segment needs and
  • Coordinate and manage product launches, ensuring effective communication and promotion across all channels
  • Oversee the new product submission process cross Canada, ensuring all elements of the submission are delivered for launch
  • Co-Manage monthly insights reporting to be presented to senior leadership team, overviewing category, brand, format etc. trends

Must Have's:

  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related field with 2+ Years Cannabis experience
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to voice opinions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in marketing software and tools, including CRM, analytics, and project management platforms.
