WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Work closely with your Creative Director and Art Director to develop compelling visual concepts that elevate the D2C brands
  • Own design projects from concept to delivery, getting curious and asking questions to clarify from relevant stakeholders
  • Actively review Junior Designer's work to ensure quality, consistency, and understanding
  • Mentor Junior Designers through active feedback and peer reviews
  • Develop original concepts for campaigns and product launches - working closely with the Creative Director and Art Director for synergy
  • Uphold brand consistency across all projects, mediums, and touchpoints
  • Liaise between departments, Project Managers, and key stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
  • Form and maintain cross-department relationships with relevant stakeholders
  • Advocate for design foundations and design-thinking within the company; furthering and owning our brand systems
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and improve processes to streamline creative production efficiencies

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Graphic Design or Jr. Art Director role; Experience in e-commerce or a start-up environment is a plus!
  • Exemplary working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Figma
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of design principles as they apply to all mediums
  • Ability to comfortably communicate creative ideas with stakeholders and turn feedback into high-level solutions without sacrificing the quality of work is considered an asset
  • Thrives in a team environment with a passion for collaborating with various teams and stakeholders in person and remotely
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to adapt to multiple shifting priorities. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and speaking up to clarify asks
  • Approaches challenges with a positive, solutions-based attitude
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable in a results-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to provide constructive feedback peer-to-peer
  • Ability to coach and develop peers - providing active, structured feedback to enhance design work
  • Experience working in tandem with Web UX/UI teams
  • Strong design portfolio that exemplifies your range of skills across mediums
  • Experience in motion graphics or 3D is considered an asset
