Job Summary

Are you a seasoned marketing specialist seeking an opportunity to make a significant impact? As a Senior Associate Marketing Specialist, you will join our dynamic team and work closely with the Brand Manager to bring our Guardian, I.D.A., and Remedy'sRx retail pharmacy banners to new heights. This is a contract position where you will play a pivotal role in executing our annual marketing plan and captivating our target audience.

In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and vendors to execute a wide range of brand marketing programs and initiatives. Your exceptional project management skills will allow you to confidently oversee multiple projects simultaneously while also maintaining attention to detail. Your creativity and storytelling prowess will shine as you craft compelling narratives that resonate with both our consumers and our pharmacy owners.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation:

  • Develop compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and print materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights to create content that aligns with the banners' business objectives
  • Craft clear and concise copy that effectively communicates key messages and drives brand awareness, engagement, and conversions
  • Ensure all content is aligned with brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across all platforms
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to develop innovative content ideas and campaigns

Project Management:

  • Support with the development, execution, and presentation of the annual marketing plan and strategies
  • Oversee the start to end coordination of major projects and campaigns, including workback schedules, asset creation, deployment, and communication
  • Support with the maintenance and evolution of the brand books, and ensure compliance of brand standards across all touchpoints
  • Deploy, track, and analyze marketing campaign performance, provide regular reports, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization
  • Be the key point of contact for other departments and support with the branding portions of their programs & initiatives
  • Communicate marketing initiatives and updates to the Operations team and the pharmacy owners on a regular basis

Administrative Tasks:

  • Prepare and submit billing, manage inboxes, and other administrative tasks
  • Other ad hoc projects and tasks as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant education in Marketing, Communications, or Business
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in retail, healthcare, or wellness
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with digital marketing, Meta Business Suite, and Meta Business Manager are definite assets
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset

Our office is located at 2300 Meadowvale Blvd., Mississauga, ON L5N 5P9. Enjoy a hybrid work model: 1 day in office and additionally for ad hoc reasons.

We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$59,100 - $98,500
