Activate is a technology company known for creating Canada's first full-scale interactive gaming experience. We are searching for a motivated and seasoned executive to fill the newly created Vice President, Global Marketing and Customer Loyalty role.

The Vice President, Global Marketing and Customer Loyalty will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and will lead the organization through rapid expansion into new international markets. As a strategic and data-driven leader, you will be responsible for orchestrating all aspects of the Activate's creative direction, global marketing, and loyalty programs.

This role will be instrumental in the international growth of Activate with a strong focus on global presence and expansion. The Vice President, Global Marketing and Customer Loyalty will be responsible for data driven marketing strategies to increase customer loyalty, developing and executing business strategies that promote Activate in multiple global markets. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the individual is accountable for developing and managing the global marketing strategy for Activate and their customer journey. The Vice President, Global Marketing and Customer Loyalty is a seasoned and creative executive with experience at an international level, collaborating with other executive leaders to identify market opportunities, and deliver solutions that contribute to the continued growth of Activate.

The Duties and Responsibilities :

Leadership

  • Lead the marketing strategy for both global expansion and customer journey in collaboration with sales and marketing teams as well as partner agencies.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Leadership of other departments to align marketing strategy and resource assignment with organizational and departmental goals.
  • Develop a marketing budget, allocate spending, measure impact and ROI to demonstrate a strategic use of company resources.
  • Overall accountability for strategy, execution, and management of brand guidelines.

Global Marketing and Creative Direction

  • Conceptualize and execute innovative marketing campaigns to differentiate Activate from other markets.
  • Drive creative strategies, foster partnerships, and promote innovation to enhance brand visibility and engagement across various markets.
  • Leverage market research, and data analytics to measure success and action insights across the whole of Activate.
  • Increase brand awareness through development and implementation of a cohesive marketing plan, ensuring development and implementation aligns with Activate's short-term and long-term objectives for global expansion.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to execute strategy development, media plan development, advertising purchases, website development, public relations, and social media across the globe.

Customer Loyalty

  • Drive targeted marketing strategies based on customer behaviours.
  • Experiment with different mediums to strengthen customer relationships using multiple channels, capturing customer feedback, and staying relevant in measuring data driven marketing.
  • Lead the development of effective loyalty programs.
  • Build a customer community where customers connect, share experiences, and participate in the Activate journey.
  • Fortify the customer's commitment to Activate by developing a brand voice that feels authentic and relatable.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Cultivate relationships with industry partners and coordinate major marketing campaigns across a variety of traditional and emerging channels, guiding global research efforts.
  • Oversee partner agencies, ensuring all recommendations and buying strategies are on-point to ensure key metrics are met and learnings are being implemented.
  • Primary spokesperson for the organization.
  • Actively engaged with establishing Activate presence in tradeshows, and global interfaces that attract new partners, supporting Activate's internationalization and strategic growth plan.
  • Establish and lead global marketing plans in standards of excellence; ensuring marketing strategies resonate with stakeholders across the globe.

The Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, economics or business
  • Seasoned in pioneering successful customer loyalty initiatives
  • Influential leader with a strong business acumen
  • 7+ years of senior leadership experience, with at least 4 years in a marketing and communications executive leadership role
  • International experience with high growth thought leadership, with an ability to set overall strategy and drive market presence
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365, Google AdWords, SEO, and web analytics
  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills
  • Professional, diversified and clear communication styles
  • Extensive planning with an eye on global trends
