We currently have an opening for Customer Service and Marketing Specialist to join our team at our Richmond facility.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be the first point of contact for customers, on sales and service contacts (phone, email, website, and other electronic means) while being responsible for overseeing all Digital Marketing and Communication initiatives on B2B front to support Datrend operations and program goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a multirole position that includes the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop customer relationships, providing excellent customer service and administrative support to Sales Directors by generating a list of leads and redirecting to dealers.
  • Enter Sales Orders into the ERP System, provide documentation to stakeholders involved and manage shipping schedules and back-orders.
  • Issue RMA (Return Material Authorization) numbers, maintain the RMA log and coordinate the shipping/receiving for materials.
  • Assist Financial Controller with payments, invoices and credit memos from customers when necessary.
  • Coordinates organizational presence at tradeshow or outreach events.
  • Provides support and advice to internal clients to develop or review content for effective communication to internal and external audiences.
  • Develop marketing materials and engaging content in various media (video, text, graphics, audio, etc.).
  • Manages publication design projects, including coordination of graphic design and layout.
  • Create original content in the form of photos and videos while maintaining an updated content calendar for all channels on a weekly basis.
  • Create and design Email and Web Marketing to target potential and existing customers.
  • Create graphics and other necessary company marketing material.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service role and/or in a creative role executing marketing and brand initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem analysis and solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communicator and detail oriented.
  • Experience with corporate Social Media Account/ Channels and strong skills with producing video or multimedia content for corporate use.
  • Experience with graphic design and content editing tools is considered an asset.
  • Experience in a regulatory/compliance environment is considered an asset.
  • Experience or background in healthcare technology is a plus.
  • Experience in product development is a plus.
